Lot Description
A 1920's silver mounted boudoir clock, the silvered dial with circular hammered surround surmounted with a foliate scroll finial, manual wind platform escapement movement and supported on a rectangular hammered plinth, embellished with a bow and laurel wreath to the square splayed base and raised on four bun feet. Hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1922, numbered 843. Height measuring 8 inches (22 cm).

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. An engraving looks to have been removed from the case back, visible as pitting with a slight loss of the hammered finish. Movement currently functioning, however we can not guarantee the working order or accuracy. Missing key to wind movement. Movement marked 'Made n France 1565'.
