Lot Description
An early twentieth century gentleman's wallet or coin holder, the oblong engine turned body with vacant cartouche, sprung hinged lid opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with dual compartments for coins and money clip. Hallmarked Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1910. Height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm), weight 2.9 ozt 93 grams.

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The sprung hinge to the lid is in excellent working order as is the hinged clip to the interior. The dimensions of the coin holders measure 65 mm in length, 22 mm in width and 2 mm in depth.The engine turning to the outside of the case does display some wear, the cartouche is vacant.
