An early twentieth century silver-gilt purse, the oblong hinged body with stepped scalloped edge, engraved monogram and inscription, attached chain and finger ring and opening to a compartmentalised leather interior. Hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1915. Width measuring 4 1/4 inches (10.5 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Wear to gilding. Minor dints and bumps. Particular wear to the scroll embellishment to the corners where holes have worn through. Pencil present to the interior is likely to be a replacement. Hallmarks rubbed.
