Lot Description
An Edwardian silver aide-memoire, of scrolling rectangular form, the scrolling foliate and engine turned exterior with Gothic script monogram, opening to reveal a moire blue silk interior with pocket sides, central ivory wafer and engine turned pencil. Hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1902. Length 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm). Weight 3.63 ozt (112.9 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Monogram HAE or combination thereof, with scratch date 1903. General small dents to the front and sides. Interior good, slight discolouration, slight wear to gilt edging.
