A George V silver and enamel cigarette case, of rectangular form with blue guilloche enamelled hinged lid and engine turned base and opening to reveal silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham, 1931. Length measuring 3 4/8 inches (9 cm), weight 3.6 ozt (112.3 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Hallmarks clear and legible with matching part hallmarks to lid. Displays heavy wear, marks and scratches to enamel and silver exterior. The enamel appears dull due to frequency of scratches. Hinge in working order although catch is loose. Gilding with wear and few marks and scratches to interior.
