A Victorian combination silver scent bottle and vinaigrette modelled as a hunting horn, the hinged cover to the vinaigrette with personal inscription and opening to a silver-gilt interior with scroll pierced grille. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co, London 1870, numbered 455 and with Victorian registration mark. Length measuring 4 1/4 inches (11 cm), weight 2.2 ozt (70 grams).

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints. Gilding remains bright. Hallmarks are clear and legible, maker’s mark to the exterior is rubbed. Hinges and clasp in good working order.
