A Victorian silver table snuff box, the oblong form entirely engraved with flowers amidst foliate scrolls, diaper and surrounding a crested cartouche, the hinged lid opening to a silver-gilt interior with etched industrial harbour scene with pier to the inside lid. Hallmarked Edward Edwards II, London 1844. Length measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 5.5 ozt (174 grams).
