A Victorian silver vinaigrette, the oblong form with engraved scalework amidst scrolls, leaved and within punchwork borders, the hinged lid opening to a silver-gilt interior with floral engraved and pierced drill. Hallmarked Edward Smith, Birmingham 1851. Length 2.5 cm, weight 9.4 grams.
