Lot Description
A pair of modern silver decanter labels for Port and Sherry, each octagonal sided with rectangular shape above and having a reeded border. Hallmarked John Harvey & Sons Ltd., London 1960/61. Maximum length of each measures 4.3 cm, gross weight 38.4 grams.

Condition Report
Both labels display some general surface scratches, marks, wear and light tarnishing. Heavier tarnishing to the chains. Several deeper scratches, nicks and surface scuffs are visible, especially to the Sherry label. This example also has a broken link at the join of the chain on one of the corners and would require a new link. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also lion passant is visible to some of the chain links.
