Lot Description
A selection of four late Victorian and Edwardian silver vesta cases, decorated with foliate scrolls and leaf patterns, two with monogrammed panels, the other two vacant. Hallmarks for Sheffield 1898 and Birmingham 1889, 1904 and 1905, various maker's marks including Joseph Gloster. Gross weight 4.09 ozt (127.3 grams). (4).

Condition Report
All the vesta cases display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Some dints and heavier scuffs. The hinged lids all appear in working order but a couple of the clasps may require attention. The largest case has a duller appearance. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
