An Edwardian silver vesta case, the oblong form scroll engraved with monogrammed shield cartouche and push button front opening hinged lid. Hallmarked Chester 1905. Height measuring 4.7 cm, 21.8 grams.

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnising commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints. Hinge and push button release in good working order. Gilding to the interior discoloured. Hallmarks positioned to the inner lip and partially cut off,maker’s mark distorted possibly ?&S.
