An early 19th century garnet and hair brooch. Of oval-shape outline the hair panel, to the foil-back garnet surround. Length 3.8cms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The foil-back garnets have a pale to medium purplish-red with typical inclusions, and abrasion to the facet edges.
