An 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, within a single-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks for London, 1978. Weight 3.8gms.

<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Opal creamy white, play-of-colour from red through to violet, fairly even distribution.<p>
<li>Opal in fair to good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles.<p>
