A mid 20th century platinum diamond single-stone ring. The circular-cut diamond, with circular-cut diamond trefoil shoulders, to the plain band. Principal diamond estimated weight 1.40cts, K-L colour, P1 clarity. Weight 3.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age and general wear.<p> <li>Evidence of resizing/alteration to the band. Band slightly off-round.<p> <li>Principal diamond bright, with a yellow hue. Assessed within the limits of the mount. Fairly large light and dark coloured inclusions located under the table and a feather near to the girdle, visible to the unaided eye. Principal diamond in good condition with minor abrasion.<p> <li>Shoulder diamonds bright and well matched. Estimated total shoulder diamond weight 0.40ct. Individual size of the shoulders diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to large inclusions easily visible under magnification. Shoulder diamonds generally in good condition with minor abrasion, one with significant nicks to the crown.<p> <li>Stamped Plat. Ring size H1/2.<p>
