An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The slightly graduated oval opal cabochons, with old-cut diamond double spacers, to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Weight 4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear and age.<p>
<li>The opals are lightly abraded to the surface.
<li>All have a cream body colour with play-of-colour visible displaying red, orange, violet and green. They appear to be well matched.
<li>One side opal is a possible replacement.

<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Chips and nibbles to the majority of the girdle edges. Small dark scattered inclusions are visible to some. One diamond has a fine surface reaching fracture to the table.
