A diamond ring. The graduated old and single-cut diamond line, with old-cut diamond side accents, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.30cts. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general age and wear.<p>
<li>Front of the ring dates from the late 19th century with significant evidence of alteration and repair. Significant repairs to the settings. The three principal stone settings are built up to the front and reverse. Possible replacement stones.<p>
<li>Evidence of resizing, possible replacement band.<p>
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched.<p>
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Principal diamond estimated I-J colour, SI clarity. Diamond assessed within the limits of the mount. Feather near to the culet, visible under magnification. Individual size and setting of the other diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Principal diamond has scattered inclusions visible under magnification, good condition with minor abrasion. Some of the other diamonds have significant dark surface reaching inclusions visible to the unaided eye, others have inclusions visible under magnification. <p>
<li>Other diamonds in fair to good condition, mostly with minor abrasion/nicks, one has a significant nick.<p>
