A late 19th century gold diamond and split pearl pendant. The split pearl and old-cut diamond cluster, to the similarly-set halo, suspended from a graduated old-cut diamond surmount. May be worn as a brooch. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts, I-J colour, SI1-P1. Length 3.7cms. Weight 10.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient.
<li>Two replacement diamonds.
<li>The diamonds are bright, lively and fairly well matched. Small inclusions and surface nibbles visible with magnification.
<li>Split pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
<li>Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes.
<li>Minor nacre damage to some.
<li>Fairly good lustre.
<li>Split pearls fairly well matched.
<li>Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these split pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
