Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. There are areas of yellowing in places.

The bracelet has been put together from various early 20th century components. The sapphires and diamonds appear to be replacements and the settings appear a little sharp.

Diamonds are bright and well matched.

There are profuse inclusions to some diamonds visible with the unaided eye. There are chips and surface reaching inclusions to some.

The sapphire is medium blue, fairly well saturated, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone. There is a surface reaching fracture running around the edging of the cabochon, possibly effecting the durability of the sapphire.

With safety clasp.

Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
