A late 19th century cultured pearl and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the cultured pearl, measuring 6mms, within an old, single and rose-cut diamond foliate panel. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 5.7cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.<p>
<li>Replacement brooch fitting, possibly converted from another item of jewellery. Cultured pearl is a possible replacement. Wear to the settings. Evidence of repairs.<p>
<li>Cultured pearl creamy yellow, fairly good skin with some surface blemishes, slightly uneven surface.<p>
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched.<p>
<li>Large inclusions visible to the unaided eye, many are surface reaching. Durability of some may be impaired. Diamonds in fair to good condition, with some significant nicks and chips.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
