Lot Description
A late Victorian gold split pearl locket and fancy-link chain. The oval-shape locket, with split pearl star, suspended from a fancy-link chain, to the partially concealed clasp engraved 'T.M.&M.L.D. 7th June 1888'. Length of locket 5.5cms. Length of chain 42.5cms. Total weight 49.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li>Some areas of discolouration to the links. One link has significant scratches and discolouration. Evidence of repair to several of the links. <p>
<li>Some replacement split pearls. Split pearls vary slightly in hue. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, one fractured, durability may be impaired.<p>
