Lot Description
A late 19th century gold split pearl, diamond and enamel brooch. The split pearl and black enamel line, over the rose-cut diamond and blue enamel line, to the tapered engraved sides with cultured pearl accents. Length 4.7cms. Weight 13.2gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.There are some areas of greening to the back of the brooch. The back brooch fitting is a later replacement. Visible area of lead solder to reverse.
<li>There are some small chips and areas of wear to the enamel
<li>Diamond fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Split pearls fairly well matched, there are some fine cracks to the nacre of some.<p>
<li>Glue residue visible to the cultured pearl accents, visible blisters and blemishes to the cultured pearls.<p>
