A late 19th century gold garnet and diamond brooch. The oval-shape garnet cabochon, with overlaid vari-cut diamond floral detail, within a plain surround. Length 3.4cms. Weight 14.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear. discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>The brooch has been put together from various late 19th century components. Possible replacement garnet and diamonds.
<li>There are some dents to the collet.
<li>Overlaid diamond floral panel possibly added at a later date.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched, Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment.
