Lot Description
ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Day-Date wrist watch. Circa 1963. Reference 1803, serial 1703518. Signed automatic calibre 1556. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, day and date apertures to twelve and three. Fluted bezel, 18ct yellow gold case fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 35mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. There are some very small hairs or fibres caught near the 2 o'clock hour marker.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There is a dent to just above the nine o'clock position on the case. Case back is a later replacement.
<li>Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
<li>Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
<li>Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
