Lot Description

A late 19th century gold and silver split pearl and diamond triple cluster ring. The three graduated split pearls, within an old and single-cut diamond surround, to the near period replacement band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Weight 3.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.<p>

<li>Replacement band, of a similar age to the cluster panel. Band shows evidence of repair and resize. Possible replacement split pearls. Some replacement diamonds.<p>

<li>Diamonds fairly bright, differ slightly in hue and appearance. Diamonds generally in fair to good condition with some abrasion and nicks, two chipped.<p>

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>

<li>Split pearls light silvery-grey colour, rose and greenish overtones. Fairly well matched. Two have fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. One has significant chips and wear to the surface.<p>

<li>Ring size O. Replacement band stamped 18c, partially indistinct.<p>
