An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The old-cut diamond, within a circular opal cabochon surround, to the scrolling shoulders and tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Weight 4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general age and wear.<p>
<li>Band shows evidence of resize. Possible replacement stones.<p>
<li>Diamond fairly bright. Large feathers visible to the unaided eye and a significant chip to the crown facets near to the girdle.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Opals vary slightly in size and appearance. Translucent with play-of-colour.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with abrasion and nicks.<p>
