Lot Description

A mid 19th century 18ct gold diamond and gem-set ring. The old-cut diamond, within an oval turquoise cabochon surround, to the old-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby shoulders and ridged band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Weight 4.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Diamond fairly well matched.

<li>A couple of the diamonds are significantly chipped.

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>

<li>The turquoise are possible replacements, visible chips and areas of abrasion.<p>

<li>The rubies are pinkish red, visible abrasion. <p>

<li>Some settings may need to be secured.<p>
