Lot Description
A mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum diamond three-stone ring. The three graduated old-cut diamonds, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Accompanied by mini report number 20021229, from AnchorCert, stating that the estimated total diamond weight is 2.08cts, G-J colour, VS-SI clarity, assessed mounted. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 3gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general age and wear.<p>
<li>Evidence of resizing. Re-tipping to the claws. Wear to the gallery. Inscription to inner band 'J.D.C-M 1.8.48' partially indistinct and disrupted by resizing.<p>
<li>Diamonds bright and fairly well matched, principal diamond is drawing more of a yellow hue than the outers. Principal diamond has an indented natural on the pavilion near the culet, easily visible under magnification. One outer diamond has a surface reaching feather partially obscured by a claw. The other has no obvious inclusions visible under magnification.<p>
<li>Diamonds in fair to good condition, with a few significant nicks to the girdle.<p>
