Lot Description
An 18ct gold enamel and gem-set heart locket. The circular-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond surround, within a dark blue enamel lattice motif, to the floral engraved reverse and surmount loop. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Portuguese marks and import marks for London, 1981. Length 2.3cms. Weight 5.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general wear.
<li>Glazed panel to one side in locket.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Sapphire is a dark, deep blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Sapphire colour a good match to the enamel hue.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
