An 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. The old-cut diamond, within a calibre-cut emerald octagonal surround, to the brilliant-cut diamond scalloped border and shoulder accents. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.85ct, J-K colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 4.5gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear.
<li>Principal diamond assessed within the limits of the mount. Slight yellow hue. Large light and dark inclusions located under the table and towards the girdle, visible to the unaided eye. One reaches the surface at the pavilion. Principal diamond in fair condition with a large nick to the crown.
<li>Estimated total outer diamond weight 0.25ct. Diamonds bright and fairly well matched, vary slightly in hue. Scattered to large inclusions. Outer diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of the outer diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Emeralds bluish-green, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones generally in good condition with minor abrasion and a few nicks, one with a large nick.<p>
