Lot Description

An early 20th century diamond, ruby and split pearl ring. The old-cut diamond and circular-shape rubies, within a split pearl marquise-shape surround, to the circular-shape ruby shoulders and replacement band. Total weight 4.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with general age and wear.<p>

<li>Replacement band, joints to the shoulders. Scratches and patch of discolouration to the inner band. Replacement split pearls. Possible replacement rubies.<p>

<li>Diamond fairly bright. Large surface reaching inclusion affecting a small section of the crown, with associated nicks, durability may be impaired.<p>

<li>Estimated diamond weight under 0.10ct.<p>

<li>Individual size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>

<li>Rubies fairly well matched, moderate pinkish-red. Fairly good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>

<li>Stones in fair to good condition with some abrasions.<p>

<li>Split pearls fairly well matched. Fair skins with some surface blemishes. Poor lustre.<p>

<li>Ring size M1/2. Replacement band stamped 18ct.<p>
