A late 19th century Russian gold diamond hinged bangle. The old-cut diamond, with raised openwork sides, to the plain half-bangle. Estimated diamond weight 0.45ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. 56 Zolotnik mark. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 10.6gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general age and wear.<p>
<li>Some light indentations to the panels. Bangle has been re-polished.<p>
<li>Diamond bright, assessed within the limits of the mount. Scattered light and dark inclusions located throughout, easily visible under magnification. Diamond in fair to good condition with a few nicks to the crown facets near the girdle.<p>
<li>56 zolotnik mark to clasp tongue.<p>
