An early 20th century gold split pearl swallow necklace. Designed as two split pearl swallows trailing split pearl fronds, to the trace-link back chain. Length 50.3cms. Weight 13.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Back section of the chain is replacement to a similar but thinner design. Clasp deficient.
<li>Central split pearl deficient, hook to suspend a pendant is also broken.
<li>Split pearls are well matched with good lustre, one small split pearl appearing dark grey.<p>
