Lot Description

BREITLING - a gentleman's Transocean chronograph bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference A53040.1, serial 5736. Signed quartz movement. Blue dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Colt bracelet with folding clasp. 41mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.

<li>Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

<li>Hands show holes and discolouration to the luminous paint.

<li>Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Some possible evidence of previous repolishing.

<li>Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.

<li>Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.Some possible evidence of previous repolishing.

<li>Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marksSome possible evidence of previous repolishing.
