ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Day-Date wrist watch. Circa 1979. 18ct yellow gold case with fluted bezel. Reference 18038, serial 6263424. Signed automatic calibre 3055. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, day and date apertures to twelve and three. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 36mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows light scratches and marks.
<li>Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.Some wear is visible to the Rolex emblem detailing.
<li>Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
<li>Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches. Plating is beginning to wear to the edges and to the pin.<p>
