Lot Description
ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster wrist watch. Circa 1936. Stainless steel case. Reference 2081, serial 85201. Signed manual wind movement. White enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned burgundy leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 30mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. There is a screw missing from the movement.
<li>Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. There are numerous large cracks to the dial and some areas of discolouration.
<li>Hands show holes and discolouration to the luminous paint.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Glass is loose and spins round in the setting.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Possible replacement case back.
<li>Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Possible replacement crown.
<li>Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration.
<li>Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.<p>
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>
