Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by Richard Williams. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1840. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Outer case 55mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial shows cracks around the twelve numeral. Dial also shows marks.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing. Hour hand appears to be a replacement as its of a differing shape/colour than the minute hand.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Inner case shows wear from when it has been inside the outer case. Hinge to the inner case appears to show a past repair. Outer case has a noticeable dent to the case back and wear to the hinge. Outer case appears to show signs of a previous repair.
<li>Pendent shows wear, marks and scratches.
<li>Bow has wear and scratches.<p>
