A modern Wedgwood black basalt inkstand, after an original design c.1798, of Egyptian style decorated with terracotta-coloured jasperware, the tray of elliptical form modelled with head of griffin and crocodile with single candleholder and holding three jars, marked 'Wedgwood Made in England 00', 12" (30.5cm) long.
