A late 17th century and later walnut month-going longcase clock.
The 8-inch square brass dial having a silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes plus inner quarter hour track and half hour divisions framing a matted centre within cherub mask spandrels, engraved "Gulielmus Clement London Fecit" below VI, the knopped and finned four-pillar movement countwheel-striking on a bell, the later case with vertically-removable hood, pierced brass fretwork frieze and sunken columns over figured long trunk door, hinged inlaid base with lenticle, and brass bun feet, 76.5", (194cm) high (sold with two weights, pendulum, and key)

Condition Report
Dial - tarnishing to chapter ring. Engraved name not guaranteed, sold ;’as seen’. Should be single-hand.
Movement - adapted: crutch and back cock are offset on backplate (ie not central) and a secondary pendulum suspension has been added over the backplate. Bell missing.
Case - A later concoction (20th century).
