Lot Description

A pair of Edwardian silver bonbon dishes, each of elongated oval form with vertical pierced sides and embossed husk motifs. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1908. Length measuring 6 3/8 inches (16.2 cm), weight 5.3 ozt (164.8 grams).

The dishes appear in fairly good overall condition but are very tarnished and would benefit from a polish. They display some general surface scratches, marks and wear in keeping with the age and use. The hallmarks appear rubbed in places but are still legible.
