Lot Description

An Edwardian silver twin-handled bowl of circular form, having embossed foliate scrolls and footed base, hallmarked T H Hazlewood & Co., Birmingham 1907. Together with an Edwardian silver caster of vase shape, hallmarked Chester 1906, two novelty acorn peppers, hallmarked Birmingham 1903 and 1904, and a pair of plated pepper pots. Gross silver weight 4 ozt (124.7 grams).

In varied state, all pieces displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to plated peppers and acorn peppers. On the bowl, the base of one handle has come away. Surface dints and bumps to some pieces. Many of the hallmarks are worn and distorted.
