A George III silver coffee pot, the pear form with later floral embossing on a scale-work background, dual vacant cartouche and standing on a circular footed base with gadrooned border.  Hallmarked Francis Crump, London 1770. Height measuring 11 inches (28 cm), weight 29.6 ozt (922 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One cartouche appears to have an an inscription removed. Minor dents and bumps. Hinge in good working order. Pins to handle dislodged. Abrasion mark to handle. Hallmarks partly obscured but legible.
