A George III silver cream jug, the oval body with ribbon-work engraved borders, the dual wreath cartouche, one with initial engraving and reeded rim. Hallmarked London 1795. Height measuring 4 3/8 inches (11 cm), weight 4.2 ozt (133 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some splitting to the top of the body where it meets the handle, possible repairs in this area also. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark worn, possibly HG.
