Lot Description
A George II silver open salt of cauldron shape and raised on three stepped hoof feet, hallmarked Edward Wood, London, likely 1743. Together with a pair of Edwardian silver pedestal salts, hallmarked Lambert & Co., London 1906, a set of five Edwardian silver miniature goblets, an Edwardian miniature trophy cup, a late Victorian vase form pepper pot, a mustard pot with glass liner and a further open salt, missing liner, both 1940's. Weight excluding glass liner 13.61 ozt (423.2 grams). (12).

Condition Report
In mixed state, all pieces displaying general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Some pieces, including the George II salt, display heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Various dints and bumps are visible, including several to the Georgian salt. Floods of solder visible to pedestal salts. Split along the seam line of the pepper pot. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks.
