Lot Description
A late Victorian small silver salver of shaped circular form, having a gadroon rim interspersed with foliate motifs and enclosing a further foliate border to a plain centre engraved with a family crest and motto, the whole raised on three claw and ball feet. Hallmarked W & C Sissons, Sheffield 1890. Overall diameter measures 7 5/8 inches (19.5 cm), weight 12.25 ozt (381.2 grams).

Condition Report
The salver displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, however some of the scratches and marks are fairly heavy. Crude solder repair around one of the feet, which is clearly visible. The motto reads 'Ever Ready'. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
