Lot Description
An Edwardian silver mounted and glass ice bucket or wine cooler, of simple tapering form with silver swing handle and plated bottle holder insert having three rim hooks. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1909, the bottle holder also with impressed maker's mark. Height to rim measures 6 1/4 inches (16 cm).

Condition Report
The wine cooler displays general surface scratches, nicks, contact marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. The silver rim mount and handle and also the plated liner all display some quite heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Swing handle appears in good working order. Some minor nicks to glass, also heavier scratches and contact marks to the base. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also part hallmarks to handle.
