Lot Description

A pair of 1940's silver vases, the tapered bodies with bulbous opening to the vertical pierced rim with floral accents and similarly decorated circular loaded foot. Hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd, Birmingham 1944. Height measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cm).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Felting to the underside needs replacing. Loading unequal to the bud vases and also appears loose. Hallmarks very rubbed. Interiors dirty and the whole would benefit from a clean and polish.
