Lot Description

A mid-twentieth century silver salver of circular form, having a simple Chippendale style border to a plain centre and raised on three splayed and scrolled feet. Hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons, Sheffield 1959. Diameter measures 14 inches (35.5 cm), weight 40.82 ozt (1269.6 grams).

The salver appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, mainly surface scratches, nicks and contact marks, and some tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some very slight surface dints and bumps. No personal engravings. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
