A mid-twentieth century silver presentation or ceremonial cup, of shaped circular outline and raised on an open footed base, small relief panel to one side with red enamelled motif possibly resembling two crossed Kirpans, the angular handle with ivory insulators. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1938 or 1963. Maximum height measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 14.71 ozt (457.4 grams).

Condition Report
The cup appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper marks and nicks and a couple of small gouges visible to the edge of the handle. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
