Lot Description
A 1920's silver and tortoiseshell part dressing table set, comprising a hand mirror, a hair brush and a pair of clothes brushes, hallmarks for Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1925, some marks distorted. Together with a matched glass dressing table jar with silver and tortoiseshell lid, hallmarked London 1922. (5).

Condition Report
All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with their age and use. Heavy tarnishing to the silver and all would benefit from a clean and polish. Various dints and bumps and creases, including some notable ones to lid of glass jar. Split to the handle of the mirror. Various marks and stains to the tortoiseshell and it appears quite dry in some areas. Brushes in used condition. Some of the hallmarks are very worn or distorted.
