Lot Description
A large silver plate on copper bottle coaster, of circular form with applied floral and foliate scroll rim above pierced sides with swag and patera motifs, with wooden base. Impressed maker's mark to base rim for Deykin & Harrison (Birmingham, 1895 - c. 1935), also marked 'silver on copper' and number '4360'. Base diameter measures 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm).

Condition Report
The coaster displays general wear including surface scratching, contact marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Seam or construction lines are visible. Some slight dints. Copper showing through on the raised decoration. The wooden base is very faded and worn and appears too small as there are large gaps visible around the edge.
